The space

Welcome to this lovely 81 m² flat, ideally situated right in the heart of Rouen’s historic centre. A charming place, designed to accommodate up to 4 guests, whether you’re visiting for a weekend, a holiday with family or friends, or even a business trip. Just a stone’s throw from the Place du Vieux-Marché, you’ll enjoy a lively neighbourhood full of character, perfect for exploring Rouen on foot and easily reaching its main tourist attractions.

The building in which the flat is situated is itself particularly remarkable. It forms part of the architectural heritage of Rouen’s historic centre and is regularly photographed by visitors. In particular, it features among the stops on the ‘Rouen’s Must-Sees’ tour organised by the Tourist Office.

Here’s a little anecdote that makes this address even more special: postcards and magnets featuring the building are also sold at the Rouen Tourist Office. So you can take home a little souvenir of the place where you’ve been staying!

An elegant and cosy flat: As soon as you arrive, there is an entrance hall where you can easily leave your shoes, suitcases and personal belongings.
On the first floor, you’ll then find a pleasant living area with a contemporary and refined atmosphere. The lounge, equipped with a television and combined with a dining area, offers a cosy setting for sharing breakfast, dinner or simply enjoying a moment of relaxation after a day spent exploring Rouen or working.

Adjoining this is the large, separate kitchen, where you can easily prepare your own meals in complete comfort. It is equipped with an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. For added convenience, a utility room houses a washing machine and ironing facilities, ideal for stays of several days.

The sleeping area has been designed to offer everyone comfort and privacy. The flat has two bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed, ideal for enjoying a restful night’s sleep after a day spent exploring the city. A cot is also available in one of the bedrooms, making it easier for families to stay.

A shower room with a shower and toilet completes the flat.

Regarding parking, the property does not have a private parking space, but it is possible to park in the neighbouring streets at the current rates.

The property is managed by the L’ArchiDuchesse concierge service, which is available 7 days a week, from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm, to assist you throughout your stay.

To maintain the quality of the premises and the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood, we would be grateful if you could take care of the accommodation and respect its surroundings. You will be asked to provide a credit card authorisation via a secure link to finalise your booking and receive the access codes.

And to make your stay even more enjoyable, early check-in or late check-out may be arranged, subject to availability and prior approval from the concierge team. A one-off fee of €10 will then apply.

The neighborhood

You’ll be staying in the heart of Rouen’s historic centre, in a lively neighbourhood where heritage, shops, restaurants and Rouen’s way of life come together on a daily basis.
The building itself is one of the neighbourhood’s most striking features. Its Gothic architecture makes it a particularly recognisable building, regularly photographed by visitors.
Rue des Bons-Enfants and Rue Écuyère allow you to soak up the atmosphere of the city centre straight away, whilst the Place du Vieux-Marché is just a few minutes’ walk away.

The neighbourhood is also ideal for exploring Rouen’s main monuments and museums without needing a car.

Getting around

Rouen-Rive-Droite station is about a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.
Travelling by train, particularly from Paris, is therefore particularly convenient: you can easily reach the flat on foot with your luggage.
The Palais de Justice metro station is also nearby and provides easy access to the Théâtre des Arts area as well as Rouen’s various neighbourhoods.
For travellers arriving by car, there are several parking options available in the area, particularly around the Place du Vieux-Marché and in the neighbouring streets.

Other things to note

Please note that the building does not have a lift and that the flat is on the first floor. Guests with reduced mobility or those carrying large suitcases may find access difficult.

Check-in is self-service for greater flexibility. Check-in is from 4.00 pm and check-out must be by 11.00 am at the latest.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm). In the flat, all our guests are provided with bed linen, essential toiletries for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, etc.), as well as one large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat for each bathroom. A welcome kit containing kitchen bin bags, bathroom bin bags, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience; however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, changing of bed linen/towels, restocking of essentials, or deliveries can be arranged on request for an additional charge. Remember to look after the property as if it were your own: avoid causing damage, treat the furniture with care and leave the place clean when you leave. Follow the guidelines, whether regarding times or the use of facilities, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if any minor issues arise, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Please remember that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), that the property is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), that pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless you have requested and received our prior approval, and that any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value. ​​
