The space

Welcome to Le Devillois, a spacious and light-filled flat designed to comfortably accommodate families, groups of friends and business travellers. Nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Déville-lès-Rouen, just a few minutes from Rouen’s historic centre, this cosy retreat combines modern comfort, practicality and tranquillity to ensure you have a most pleasant stay.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll discover a beautiful living area bathed in natural light, the true heart of the flat. Its cosy lounge invites you to unwind after a day of sightseeing or work, whilst the west-facing balcony allows you to enjoy the last rays of sunshine over a coffee, an aperitif or an al fresco meal in a peaceful atmosphere.

Opening onto the living area, the fully fitted and equipped kitchen has been designed to make you feel right at home. You’ll find everything you need to prepare your own meals: a hob, oven, fridge, Tassimo coffee machine, crockery and kitchen utensils.

The sleeping area offers the perfect level of comfort to ensure everyone’s privacy. As soon as you enter, a lovely master suite welcomes you with a double bed and an open-plan shower room, creating a warm and intimate space. Three further separate bedrooms complete the accommodation.

All are equipped with a double bed, a television, a desk for comfortable working, and a wardrobe. Whether you’re here on holiday or on business, everyone can enjoy their own living space.

A second separate shower room, fitted with a washing machine, and a separate toilet complete the apartment’s facilities, ensuring optimal comfort, even when staying with a group.

To make your arrival easier, Le Devillois also has a private garage that can safely accommodate a car as well as your bikes or other two-wheelers.

The accommodation is managed by Conciergerie L’ArchiDuchesse, which can be contacted 7 days a week from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 14.00 to 21.00. To finalise your booking and obtain the access codes for the accommodation, you will be asked to provide a credit card authorisation via a secure link. If you’d like to extend your stay, a one-off fee of €10 applies for early arrival or late departure, subject to availability and prior approval from our team.

The property is situated on Rue André Broucq in Déville-lès-Rouen, within an established residential area of the town, characterised by a quiet urban environment and a mix of housing comprising detached houses and small blocks of flats. The neighbourhood is primarily residential, offering a living environment sought after for its tranquillity whilst benefiting from close proximity to key amenities.

The area boasts a comprehensive range of local shops, schools, sports facilities, healthcare services and the administrative facilities necessary for everyday life. The town centre of Déville-lès-Rouen is just a few minutes’ walk away, providing quick access to shops, public services and cultural facilities.

The area benefits from excellent public transport links via the metropolitan network, providing regular services to Rouen city centre and the main towns within the Rouen Normandy Metropolis. The major roads in the vicinity also provide quick access to the main employment centres, business parks and major motorways.

In environmental terms, the neighbourhood benefits from its proximity to several green spaces and the landscaped areas of the Cailly Valley, offering a pleasant living environment and opportunities for walks. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to local shops: bakeries, supermarkets, a chemist, restaurants, cafés and local amenities. Several green spaces and the banks of the Cailly Valley also offer lovely opportunities for a stroll or a jog.

Cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the well-maintained cycle routes, which provide easy access to Rouen’s historic centre, the banks of the Seine and neighbouring towns. The cycle network makes getting around easy whilst allowing you to discover the city from a different perspective.

Public transport is just a few minutes’ walk from the property. Several bus routes serve Déville-lès-Rouen, providing quick access to the TEOR network, the city centre, Rouen Rive-Droite station, Charles-Nicolle University Hospital, the university campuses and the main business parks in the metropolitan area. The nearest TEOR stop is “Maison normande”, accessible via the T2 service.

By car, access is particularly convenient thanks to the proximity of the A150, A151 and A28 motorways, making it easy to travel to Le Havre, Dieppe, Amiens, Caen or even Paris via the A13.

Rouen Rive-Droite station, located about ten minutes away, offers regular services to Paris Saint-Lazare in around 1 hour 15 minutes, as well as to Le Havre, Caen, Dieppe and several major towns in Normandy.

Please note that the accommodation is on the second floor with no lift; it may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Check-in is via a key box from 4.00 pm and check-out must be by 11.00 am at the latest.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm). In the house, all our guests are provided with bed linen, essential toiletries for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, etc.), as well as one large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat for each bathroom. A welcome kit containing kitchen bin bags, bathroom bin bags, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience; however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, changing of bed linen/towels, restocking of essential toiletries, or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost.

When staying in a holiday let, it’s also important to follow a few rules to ensure everything runs smoothly and to avoid any surprises with your security deposit! Please treat the property as if it were your own: avoid causing damage, take care of the furniture and leave the premises clean when you leave. Follow the guidelines regarding timings and the use of facilities, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if any minor issues arise, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Please remember that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), that the property is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), that pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless you have requested and received our prior approval, and that any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value. ​​
