The space
Welcome to this charming, fully renovated 17 m² studio, Shelter 1, which is ideal for a stay in Rouen, whether you’re visiting for leisure or business. Located on the ground floor at 125 Rue du Champ des Oiseaux, you’ll enjoy a peaceful setting and a neighbourhood full of character, marked by the architectural elegance of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. From the apartment, you can walk to Rouen station in just 7 minutes, whilst the historic centre and its picturesque streets are about a 15-minute walk away.
The neighbourhood has all the necessary amenities close by: a Carrefour City, a chemist’s, a bakery, a butcher’s and a greengrocer’s are just 200 metres from the property. Perfect for a hassle-free stay, whether for a few days of exploring, a business trip or a getaway in Normandy.
Designed to offer all the necessary comforts, you’ll enjoy a cosy living area with a 140 x 190 cm double bed and a fitted, fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing your own meals thanks to the hob, fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster to get your day off to a good start.
For your comfort, bed linen and towels are provided in the accommodation.
The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, which can be contacted 7 days a week from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm. We would be grateful if you could take good care of the property and respect both the premises and the neighbourhood. To finalise your booking and receive the access codes for the property, you will be asked to provide a credit card authorisation via a secure link. Would you like to extend your stay? Built between 1913 and 1928, the building is typical of the style of the period, featuring beautiful glass roofs and a majestic façade. Remember to look after the property as if it were your own: avoid causing damage, treat the furniture with care, and leave the place clean when you leave. Follow the guidelines regarding times and the use of facilities, and be considerate of the neighbours. And if any minor issues arise, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), the property is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless prior permission has been granted by us, and any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
