The space

Immerse yourself in the cosy atmosphere of Brousse, a 22 m² studio freshly renovated in May 2026, designed as a true cocoon with warm colours and African-inspired décor. With its natural materials, sunny hues and gentle ambience, this property invites you to unwind after a day of work, study or exploring Rouen.

Ideally situated on Rue de Lecat, in the sought-after Préfecture district, the studio enjoys a convenient and pleasant location, just a 2-minute walk from the banks of the Seine. You’ll enjoy a lively and central area, close to shops, transport links, restaurants and walks along the Seine. Rouen’s historic centre, with its cobbled streets, cathedral, museums and numerous gourmet spots, is easily accessible so you can make the most of your stay.

Located on the ground floor overlooking an inner courtyard, the accommodation offers a peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing whilst remaining close to Rouen’s bustling atmosphere.

As you enter, you’ll find a well-designed and welcoming living area, decorated in a warm style inspired by the African bush. The sleeping area features a 140cm double bed on a mezzanine, accessible via a staircase. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa and a lift-top coffee table, perfect for working, having a meal or simply relaxing.

Whether for work or leisure, fibre broadband is available in the building and a Free internet connection is provided free of charge.

The kitchen, which opens onto the living room, is fitted and equipped to allow you to prepare your meals with ease. It includes a table for two with seating, a sink, hobs, a small fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, as well as crockery and the necessary equipment for your stay. A washing machine is also available for added convenience, particularly during longer stays.

The shower room features a shower, a vanity unit, a heated towel rail and a toilet.

Bed linen and household linen are provided so that you can travel light and settle in comfortably upon arrival.

The property is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm. We ask that you take care of the property and respect both the premises and the neighbourhood. You will be asked to provide a credit card pre-authorisation via a secure link to finalise your booking and receive the access codes.

Neighbourhood

Located at 15 Rue de Lecat, the property enjoys a pleasant location in the Préfecture district, a central, convenient and lively area of Rouen. You’ll be just a few minutes’ walk from the banks of the Seine, perfect for a stroll, a jog or a relaxing moment by the river.

The neighbourhood offers a lovely balance between peace and quiet, accessibility and city life. You’ll find plenty of small local shops nearby, a Lavomatic laundrette, gyms, as well as several restaurants and friendly spots, particularly along the banks of the Seine.

The property is also situated close to the university, making it an ideal choice for students, lecturers, business trips or short stays in Rouen.

For shopping, dining or leisure activities, the Docks 76 shopping centre is close to the property and easily accessible on foot. There you’ll find numerous shops, restaurants, services and relaxation areas.

From Rue de Lecat, Rouen’s historic centre is also easily accessible. You can visit the cathedral, the Gros-Horloge, the Place du Vieux-Marché and the pedestrian streets to discover all the charm of the city.

It is an ideal location to enjoy Rouen with ease: close to shops, transport links, the quays, the university and the main attractions, whilst benefiting from a practical and pleasant environment for everyday life.

Transport

From Rue de Lecat, you can easily get around Rouen on foot, by public transport or by car. The accommodation is ideally situated for quick access to the banks of the Seine, the Préfecture district, Docks 76 and the historic centre.

Public transport is available nearby, particularly around the Docks 76 / Mont-Riboudet / Kindarena area, served by the TEOR T1, T2 and T3 lines, as well as several bus routes such as the F4, 26, 29 and 30. These routes provide easy access to the city centre, the left bank, the station or the various districts of Rouen.

For guests arriving by car, street parking is available around the property, subject to availability and local regulations. For added convenience, the Docks 76 car park is nearby, offering easy parking whilst remaining close to the property. Guests can also use the Mont-Riboudet-Kindarena park-and-ride car park, located in the western district of Rouen, with connections to the TEOR lines and buses. Alternatively, use the pay-and-display car parks along the banks of the Seine.

The accommodation is therefore convenient whether you’re staying without a car or arriving by vehicle: everything is easily accessible, on foot or by public transport, so you can make the most of Rouen.

Other things to note

Please note that the building does not have a lift and that the flat is on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard.

Check-in is self-service for greater flexibility. Check-in is from 4.00 pm and check-out must be by 11.00 am at the latest.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm).
In the property, all our guests are provided with bed linen, essential toiletries for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, etc.), as well as one large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat for each bathroom. A welcome kit containing a kitchen bin bag, a bathroom bin bag, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

Please treat the property as if it were your own: avoid causing damage, take care of the furniture and leave the place clean when you leave. Follow the guidelines regarding timings and the use of facilities, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if any minor issues arise, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), the property is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless prior permission has been granted by us, and any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
