ArchiDuchesse Conciergerie has selected for you, the Archduke, an entire 5-crown accommodation for 6 people located at the foot of Saint-Godard Church in Rouen and the Jacques Villon heritage library in the heart of Rouen's right bank.

The space

In the heart of Rouen, on Rue Charles Lepneveu, this exceptional property feels like a small townhouse nestled in an intimate condominium, where you immediately feel at home. The magic begins as soon as you arrive: a view of Place du Chêne Rouge, a stone's throw from Saint-Godard Church, and just opposite... the Jacques-Villon heritage library. Here, you can enjoy the city centre on foot: shops are just a minute away, charming narrow streets, lively squares and historic façades are within walking distance.

The ultimate privilege in Rouen? Two parking spaces in a row (parking format) in a private, closed and secure garage — a rare luxury in the city centre. And to prolong the good times, you can enjoy a 15 m² patio terrace, sheltered from the wind and not overlooked: breakfast in the open air, a reading break during the day, a drink at the end of the afternoon... in complete tranquillity. The owners have enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) many wonderful moments here: everything has been designed to make you feel at home, with comprehensive facilities and a warm atmosphere.

There are two ways to access the property: via the garage on the ground floor or via the building (a few steps) to reach the accommodation. Spread over three floors and offering around 140 m² of space, the flat combines volume, privacy and comfort — a real favourite.

Main floor (1st floor of the building): Here you will find a fully fitted and equipped kitchen: hob, oven, extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, blender... Everything you need is there. The light-filled living room is the ideal place to get together: comfortable sofa, large smart TV, convivial table for sharing meals, all with a view of the square in Rouen. Also on this level: a first bedroom with its own shower room and WC, as well as direct access to the patio, a real outdoor cocoon for special moments.

Lower level (ground floor of the building): Downstairs, you will find the garage, a very practical laundry room (washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing equipment) and a second bedroom with its own shower room — perfect for preserving everyone's independence, whether with family or friends.

On the top floor, a third bedroom awaits you, with its own shower room: high-end comfort and ideal layout, with each space retaining its privacy.

Bed linen and towels are provided. The accommodation is managed by the L'ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 21:00. Please take care of the premises and respect the neighbourhood. To this end, you will be asked to provide your bank details via a secure link in order to finalise your booking and obtain the access codes to the accommodation.

Neighbourhood

Rue Charles-Lepneveu is a very pleasant spot for travellers: you are right in the historic centre of Rouen (right bank), in an area that is both very central and quieter than the more touristy streets. Just around the corner is ‘picture-postcard Rouen’: old buildings, narrow streets, heritage, museums... and everything is within walking distance. You are literally at the foot of a cultural hub: the Villon Heritage Library is just opposite. A few steps away, the Saint-Godard Church (flamboyant Gothic/Renaissance) adds a lot of charm to the neighbourhood, and you are very close to several must-see attractions (museums, old town).
The area is also being enhanced with the creation of a pedestrian esplanade of around 1,500 m² between Saint-Godard Church and the neighbouring cultural zone: perfect for strolling, sitting down and enjoying the atmosphere of the centre without being ‘stuck’ in the crowd. Square Verdrel is a 2-minute walk away; the ideal place to enjoy a green park in Rouen and for your little ones to have fun in the playground!
On the practical side: you are at the heart of the Astuce network (bus/TEOR) which crosses the city centre and quickly connects the right bank to the left bank and the major hubs.

Getting around

From Rue Charles-Lepneveu, you are ideally located to get around Rouen easily — and the good news is that you can do almost everything on foot.

On foot (most convenient):
You are right in the heart of the historic centre: the Cathedral, the Gros-Horloge, the shopping streets, restaurants, museums... everything is within a few minutes' reach. This is really the most pleasant way to get around in this neighbourhood.

Metro/Tram (fast way to cross Rouen): If you want to go further or cross the city quickly, the stations are not far away:
/ Metro: ‘Palais de Justice – Gisèle Halimi’ (about a 5-minute walk)
/ Tram: ‘Gare – Rue Verte’ (about a 6-minute walk)

TEOR / Bus (stops nearby). Several bus/TEOR stops are just a few steps away:
/ ‘Beaux-Arts’ stop: 1–2 minutes' walk
/ ‘Square Verdrel’ stop: about 2 minutes' walk

By bike (simple and fun): Rouen has a self-service bike hire scheme (Lovélo). This is an excellent option for riding along the quays, reaching neighbouring districts or simply enjoying the city in a different way.

By car / parking
If you are coming by car, your private, secure garage on the ground floor of your apartment awaits you! A real luxury in the city centre!!!

Other things to note

Please note that the building does not have a lift and that the flat is located on the 1st floor and has 3 levels (ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor).

Check-in is via the ArchiDuchesse key master from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week
(from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.). In the apartment, all our guests receive household linen, essential items for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) as well as one large towel per person, tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bags, bathroom bin bags, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel refreshment, replenishment of essential items, or delivery can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When renting accommodation, it is important to follow a few rules to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Please take care of the accommodation as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave the premises clean when you leave. Follow the instructions regarding schedules and use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us, and any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
