The space

Welcome to this charming 130 m² townhouse, featuring a garden with trees, a terrace and a private parking space.

Situated in the sought-after neighbourhood of Saint-Gervais, close to Rouen’s historic centre and just a 15-minute walk from the Place du Vieux-Marché, this house welcomes you into a warm, family-friendly and peaceful setting.

As a primary residence, it is exceptionally well-equipped and designed with everyday comfort in mind. You’ll find everything you need to feel at home, whether you’re visiting with family, friends or on a business trip.

The house is spread over two main floors, with a lovely garden featuring trees of around 100 m² and a terrace that’s perfect for enjoying sunny days. Here you can share a meal outdoors, organise a barbecue or simply enjoy a moment of peace and quiet after a day of sightseeing.

On the ground floor, you’ll find an entrance hall, a separate toilet, a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, and a cosy living room opening onto the garden. The lounge features a sofa, a hanging chair, a small piano and a dining table for your meals.

The kitchen is very well-equipped and includes all the necessary appliances: hob, extractor hood, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Bodum coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.

On the first floor, the house has two bedrooms. The first, designed as a master bedroom, features a 160 x 200 cm double bed, a decorative fireplace and access to a walk-in wardrobe with a desk area. The second bedroom is ideal for children, with two single bunk beds. A bathroom with a toilet completes this floor.

On the second and top floor, you’ll find a children’s playroom, a third bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm double bed and a desk area, as well as a modern shower room with a macerator toilet. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also at your disposal.

For your comfort, the house is equipped with fibre-optic Wi-Fi. There is deliberately no television, to allow you to switch off a little… but not too much, thanks to the internet connection available in the property.

You’ll also have access to an ironing board, clothes rails, a hairdryer and a range of practical amenities to make your stay easier.

This house is ideal for enjoying peaceful moments with family or friends in a quiet setting, whilst remaining close to the heart of Rouen.

Bed linen and household linen are provided for your comfort. The property has a private parking space included in the rental. If necessary, you can also park at the Hôtel de Ville car park, located near the city centre. The property is managed by Conciergerie L’ArchiDuchesse, which can be contacted 7 days a week from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 14.00 to 21.00. To finalise your booking and receive the access codes for the property, you will be asked to provide a credit card authorisation via a secure link. If you’d like to extend your stay, a one-off fee of €10 applies for early arrival or late departure, subject to availability and prior approval from our team. Neighbourhood

The Saint-Gervais neighbourhood in Rouen is one of the city’s historic and iconic districts, situated to the west of the city centre, on the right bank of the Seine. It is best known for its ancient history, its religious buildings and its residential and commercial character. Here are some key points about the Saint-Gervais neighbourhood:

The Saint-Gervais district takes its name from the former Abbey of Saint-Gervais, one of the oldest churches in Rouen, dating back to the Merovingian period. According to legend, it was in this abbey that Odo of Bayeux, half-brother of William the Conqueror, was buried. The abbey was of great religious significance in the Middle Ages, but today it has been largely destroyed.

One of the key features of the Saint-Gervais neighbourhood is its proximity to Rouen-Rive-Droite station, making it well served by public transport. This convenient location makes it easy to travel to other parts of the city, as well as to Paris or other major cities in the region.

In summary, the Saint-Gervais neighbourhood in Rouen combines historic charm, tranquillity and proximity to modern amenities, making it an attractive place to live for those seeking an authentic and pleasant setting in this Norman city. The neighbourhood also benefits from its proximity to other cultural areas of the city, such as the historic centre with its famous cathedral, as well as Rouen’s museums and theatres.
