The space

Treat yourself to a break in the heart of the Right Bank, in this cosy studio ideally situated just a stone’s throw from Place du Vieux-Marché. Nestled on the first floor of a small, secure building without a lift, this 15 m² retreat has been designed to offer you a comfortable and practical stay, whether you’re here for a few days or a longer period.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll discover a pleasant, well-appointed living space, with a cosy seating area featuring a sofa bed and a clever coffee table that lifts up and folds out into a high table for meals or when you need to work. The fitted and fully equipped kitchen area allows you to easily prepare your meals thanks to a small fridge, a microwave with grill, two ceramic hobs, a kettle and all the necessary kitchenware.

The studio also features a shower room with a toilet, fitted with a vanity unit, a towel rail and a shower, as well as a large built-in cupboard with shelves for easy storage of your personal belongings. To enhance your stay, the accommodation benefits from fibre-optic broadband and a smart TV, providing easy access to your favourite apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Deezer and Canal+.

For medium or long-term stays, you’ll appreciate the washing machine and tumble dryer available free of charge in the building’s communal areas. An ironing board and iron can also be provided on request.

Bed linen and household linen are included to ensure your comfort from the moment you arrive.

The property does not have private parking, but it is possible to park in the nearby streets, subject to the current parking charges in the city of Rouen.

Your stay is supported by the L’ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm. To finalise your booking and send you the access codes, you will be asked to provide a credit card authorisation via a secure link. We thank you in advance for taking care of the accommodation and respecting the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood.

Fancy extending your getaway a little longer? Early arrival or late departure may be arranged, subject to availability and prior approval from the concierge team, for a one-off fee of €10.

The neighborhood

Located on Place Cauchoise in the heart of Rouen Rive Droite, this studio apartment is ideally situated for discovering and enjoying the city of Rouen.

Just a 10-minute walk from Rouen station, 7 minutes from the Rive Droite quays and a 5-minute walk from the famous, lively Place du Vieux Marché, you'll enjoy all the pleasures of Rouen life: local shops, bars, restaurants, boutiques, museums, sports hall, etc.

Getting around

Public transport nearby :

Metro: The nearest metro station is just a few minutes' walk away, giving you quick access to popular areas such as the city centre, the station or shopping areas.

Bus: There are several bus routes in the immediate vicinity of Place Cauchoise, including routes 3, 4 and 5. These routes serve various points of interest, making it easy to get around Rouen and to the surrounding towns and villages.

TEOR: The TEOR line, a high service level bus service, is also nearby. It allows you to travel comfortably and quickly throughout the metropolis, with strategic stops linking key areas of the city.

Accessibility: Whether you want to visit Rouen's magnificent cathedral, stroll through Old Rouen or discover museums, everything is within easy reach thanks to an efficient transport network.

Other things to note

Please note that the building does not have a lift and that the flat is located on the 1st floor. Access may be difficult for people with reduced mobility or those carrying large suitcases.

Arrivals are independent for greater flexibility. Arrivals are from 4pm and departures must be no later than 11am.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10am to 9pm). In the house, all our guests receive household linen, basic necessities for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) as well as a large towel per person, together with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bag, bathroom bin bag, sponge and dishwasher liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel freshening, replenishment of essentials or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our vouchers with promotional codes for our partners of choice and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.

The Cour de l'Archiduchesse offers a range of services to make your stay as pleasant as possible: baby equipment hire, luggage storage, shuttle service, baby-sitting, gourmet boxes, requests for sightseeing tours, creation of events (wedding proposals, birthdays, room themes, etc.) and much more! Taking advantage of a rental also means respecting a few rules to ensure that everything runs smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Remember to look after the property as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave it clean when you leave. Respect the rules on opening hours and the use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of your neighbours. And if you have any concerns, don't hesitate to let us know. Don't forget that parties are strictly forbidden (€250 deducted from the deposit), that the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 deducted from the deposit), that pets are forbidden (€50 deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us and that any loss, theft or damage will be invoiced at the actual replacement value.
