The space

Welcome to Armand, an apartment located in the heart of Rouen, in the highly sought-after Place Saint Marc neighbourhood! Whether you are visiting for work or pleasure, this unique residence promises you an unforgettable experience.

Completely renovated, this top-floor flat features a fitted and equipped kitchen opening onto a beautiful living room, three bedrooms with double beds and private shower rooms, and a separate toilet.

Enjoy the large, bright living room to relax or share a convivial lunch or dinner. You will find an open-plan kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals: kitchen worktop, refrigerator, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, kettle, dishwasher, oven and Nespresso coffee machine!

In the separate bedrooms, you will find double beds (140x200) with bed linen for a comfortable night's sleep and a private bathroom. A real luxury for everyone!

Enjoy an incredible view over the rooftops of Rouen as the flat is on the top floor of the residence! Please note that access is via stairs.

Baby equipment (travel cot, changing table and baby bath) can be provided on request.

Bed linen and towels are provided in the accommodation for your comfort.
There is no private parking available with the accommodation. However, you can park your vehicle in the streets surrounding the accommodation according to the city's current rates. The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, which can be contacted 7 days a week from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 21:00. We thank you for taking care of the accommodation and respecting the premises and the neighbourhood. To this end, you will be asked to provide your bank details via a secure link in order to finalise your booking and obtain the access codes for the accommodation.

Place Saint-Marc is known for its lively and dynamic atmosphere. It is a place where several markets are held each week, attracting locals from all walks of life to buy fresh produce, clothing, antiques and various other items. This traditional market atmosphere gives the square a friendly and authentic feel.

The neighbourhood is typical of Rouen, with its half-timbered buildings, cobbled streets and small squares steeped in history. The buildings around the square reflect traditional Norman architecture, although there are also more modern buildings, resulting from reconstruction after the Second World War.

The Place Saint-Marc neighbourhood is a place of social and cultural diversity. It is home to a diverse population, made up of long-time residents, students, artists and families. It is a place where you can feel a real social mix. Due to its markets and proximity to the historic city centre of Rouen, this neighbourhood is often frequented by tourists.

Getting around

The neighbourhood is well served by public transport, including several bus and metro lines. This makes it easy to reach Place Saint-Marc from other parts of the city, further enhancing its appeal. It is mainly managed by the Astuce network, which covers the Rouen metropolitan area. Here is some information about public transport:

Bus:
Line T1-T2-T3 (Teor): This bus line runs through several neighbourhoods in Rouen.
The Rouen metro is also an option. Although St Mark's Square is not located directly near a metro station, the metro line can be used from the Théâtre des Arts or Palais de Justice stations, which are not far away.

Other things to note

Please note that the building does not have a lift and the flat is located on the 5th floor. People with reduced mobility or those carrying large suitcases may encounter difficulties accessing the building.

Arrivals are self-service for greater flexibility. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out must be completed by 11am at the latest.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.). In the house, all our guests receive linen, essential items for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) as well as one large towel per person, tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bags, bathroom bin bags, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel refreshment, replenishment of essential items, or delivery can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our tips with promotional codes from our selected partners, and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.

When renting accommodation, it is important to follow a few rules to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Please take care of the accommodation as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave the premises clean when you leave. Follow the instructions regarding schedules and use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us, and any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
